To provide our emergency blood donation services, we collect several types of information:

• Personal Identification: Name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and gender.
• Health Profile: Your blood group and your availability status to donate.
• Precise Location: We collect your device's latitude and longitude to identify nearby donors within a 10 KM range of a blood request.
• Device Token: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens are stored to send instant notifications about urgent requests and chat messages.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is processed for the following crucial functions:

• Calculating distance between active requests and potential donors.
• Matching compatible blood types in emergencies.
• Sending real-time push notifications for chat messaging and requests.
• Managing donation cooldown periods (90 days for males, 120 days for females) to safeguard donor health.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We value your trust. We do not sell your personal data. Your contact details (phone number) are only displayed to another user once you explicitly accept their blood request or start a chat with them. Your precise coordinates are processed on our servers but are never shared with other users directly.

5. Security of Your Data

We secure your data using Google Firebase standard cloud security. This includes HTTPS data transmission protocols and Firebase security rules that ensure users can only read and write data they are authorized to access.

6. User Controls and Account Deletion

You remain in full control of your data. You can toggle your availability status at any time from your profile. If you choose to delete your account, all your records, location logs, and user profile data will be permanently wiped from our Firebase servers.
